Sector panadero del Táchira en emergencia por falta de harina

En emergencia se declaró el sector panadero del estado Táchira ante la falta de materia prima (principalmente harina de trigo), durante la asamblea ciudadana que se llevó a cabo este miércoles con 1.150 productores.

Así lo señaló Gabriel Ayala, presidente del Consejo de Panaderos del estado Táchira – Consepan-, en compañía de algunos directivos y asociaciones de Consepan, al explicar que llaman la atención de la Sunagro porque no hay pan en las panaderías y el estado es abastecido apenas con 10 % del consumo, lo cual ha creado "desabastecimiento, especulación y corrupción a la hora de asignar la harina de trigo a los productores".

En ese sentido, aseguró que no han tenido otra alternativa que traer materia prima de Colombia, pero a precios excesivos.

Ayala sentenció que finalmente es el pueblo el que está siendo afectado, porque con la harina nacional, el pan español no va a superar los 700 bolívares, pero si se trata de harina colombiana, un pan español puede sobrepasar los 2.000 bolívares.

Es por ello que, como parte de las medidas para abordar la crisis actual que está atravesando el sector panadero, la asamblea decidió enviar una comisión a Sunagro para entregar un informe, donde vayan plasmadas las denuncias, inquietudes y desesperación del sector.
